Baby Hospitals Delivered for Perth’s North and South

Plans to replace Western Australia’s 110-year-old women and babies hospital with a new facility in Perth’s south and an upgrade for a similar hospital in the city’s north have been waved ahead.
This week, two buildings were approved as the main northern part of WA’s new women and babies hospital service that will replace the ageing King Edward Memorial Hospital at Subiaco.
Set on an 11.5ha site, that part of the combined $1.8-billion project [pictured above] comprises two buildings that will expand the existing hospital at Limosa Close at Osborne Park, 10km north of the Perth CBD.
