RCQ Wins Approval for $250m Caloundra Mixed-Use Precinct

A $250-million mixed-use precinct on Caloundra’s main strip has been approved, eight months after Sunshine Coast-based builder-developer RCQ filed plans for the site.
The Sunshine Coast Council this month approved RCQ’s proposal for 126-140 Bulcock Street, clearing the way for the Architectus-designed 12-storey, three-building scheme.
The cheme comprises 74 apartments, 96 hotel and short-term accommodation suites, and ground-floor dining, bar and retail space.
