James Place Reveals Double Towers for Newcastle Debut

NSW developer James Place has moved north to enter the Newcastle market, revealing plans for a $100-million residential project in the Steel City.

The development, dubbed Kallio, is planned for a site at the corner of Hunter and King streets in the Civic heart of Newcastle.

James Place, which in September was approved for its Perle project at East Side Quarter at Penrith, said the move into Newcastle reflected “a long-term strategy to deliver design-led projects in supply-constrained markets”.
