Kanebridge Plots $500m First Salvo for Megaprecinct

A huge new precinct in Sydney’s Blacktown is entering the next stage of planning as Kanebridge files SEARs requests for a combined 14 buildings and 1320 homes.
But the project at 264a South Street, Marsden Park, is just the beginning, with Kanebridge taking first-mover advantage on a precinct that may eventually host a new Metro station alongside thousands more homes and jobs.
Kanebridge has requested SEARs for the concept planning of six mixed-use and two residential buildings ranging from six to 16 storeys and yielding 829 units, at a cost of $331.6 million.
