NSW on Hunt for Frenchs Forest Town Centre Developer

The reinvention of Frenchs Forest is well under way as the NSW Government seeks a development partner for a long-mooted town centre on the site of a former high school.

Under the Frenchs Forest 2041 Place Strategy, the town centre would host 1000 new homes, and anchor the development of another 1000 across the suburb. A health precinct around the Northern Beaches Hospital, which was re-acquired by the state in October 2025 after the collapse of Healthscope, would also be the nexus of 2000 new jobs.

Exhibitions are also open for a $65-million logistics facility and a $40-million apartment block in the Northern Beaches suburb 15km north of the Sydney CBD.
