Blue Mountains Tourism Spot in Line for 270-Home Scheme

A 270-home complex in the Blue Mountains is on exhibition, proposing nine buildings overlooking the Megalong and Jamison valleys.

The $92-million Mountains Blue Alpine Retreat and Residences at 142-150 Narrow Neck Road would be just 1.7km from the Three Sisters rock formation and Echo Point lookout, 1km from Scenic World and 3.5km from the Katoomba train station.

Proponent VDM Prime controlled by Yuri Rudi, is applying using the Housing Delivery Authority state pathway. A concurrent rezoning proposal would double height (from 8m to 15.6m) and density (from 0.6:1 floor space ratio to 1.17:1) of the existing Local Environmental Plan controls.
